Larerty lived in Kent County (Mich.). Barry (1802-1870) was elected Governor of Michigan in 1841, 1843, and 1849. Peck was a Michigan Representative from Livingston Co., 1846-1847, Member of Congress, 1855-1857, and the first Postmaster of Michigan.
